Guy M Butterworth
Guy started with Lucraft Hodgson Dawes in 1985 as Articled Clerk and undertook a training contract until he qualified in 1990 and was admitted to equity partnership in 1996.
Guy grew up in Bognor Regis attending the Bognor Regis comprehensive school. He is a member and past president of Brighton Lions Club and is currently the firework chair and responsible for the display at Sussex County Cricket Club.
Specialist areas include assurance work, corporate finance and demergers. Corp tax and property businesses
Chris J Ford
Chris joined Lucraft’s as a student and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986. After an initial period spent as an office manager Chris became an equity partner in 1988.
His work covers advising a wide range of owner managed businesses, and he has had experience in dealing with tax planning, audit, and general practice work. Chris has extensive experience in advising individuals in relation to their personal tax affairs.
Adam Hickie
Adam joined Lucraft’s in 2004 as a graduate from the University of Sussex. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 and then went on to qualify as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2009; specialising in personal tax, inheritance tax and trusts. He became a junior partner in 2011 and a full partner in 2013.
Adam has experience in a broad spectrum of industries where he works closely with the management team to monitor performance and improve results. He also advises local, national and international businesses and individuals, particularly in media and the arts where he has a special interest.
Adam is one of the firm’s more experienced auditors and takes a lead role in servicing our audit clients whilst also advising on corporate restructures and capital reorganisations for both small family owned businesses and large companies.
